Merrick has a BFA in Visual Art Education and Studio Art from The University of Texas at Austin.
They have have exhibited their artwork locally and nationally in competitions and galleries. Their work ranges in medium from traditional drawing and painting, to digital illustrations and sculptures.
Two passions in their life are making artwork and teaching nature education and conservation to children, which is their day job. If they’re not making artwork you can often find them outside hunting down interesting animals or plants!
